Today’s Nikkei newspaper said that for this year, Toyota probably will suffer full year operating loss since 1949!!
OMG!!
For this year, Toyota has projected earning approximately $6billion, which is decrease 70% from this year.
The probability itself triggered by two factors :
1. Decrease in sales
2. Volatility of Yen currency to USD
This condition was worsen by the big three condition which still did not get bailout from the Fed…
FYI, Toyota is one of the main reason I want to study to Japan. Since the overall my main subject always stated about Toyota innovation, i begin to admire their system, especially regarding Kaizen system and The Toyota way. It has been my dream to learn directly from the source, that’s why I really want to study in that country…
